Caterina Ferrari
Philanthropy Advisor
She began her professional career in the private sector, chiefly in France and Australia, experiences that strengthened her ability to work across different cultural settings. She later specialised in philanthropy and fundraising, holding positions of responsibility within non-profit organisations and accompanying donors and families on their philanthropic journeys. This dual perspective allows her to understand both the expectations and decision-making processes of donors and the workings, constraints and organisational quality of the bodies that receive and transform the resources.
In the Multi Family Office she accompanies business families and donors in translating values, interests and aspirations into a conscious and achievable philanthropic strategy. She facilitates listening and dialogue, including between generations, and supports the definition of priorities, the assessment of possible modes of intervention and the choice of the philanthropic vehicle most consistent with the donor's objectives. She also supports the building of partnerships and the definition of criteria for evaluating their results, providing method and tools so that decisions remain fully in the donor's hands.
She believes in a philanthropy capable of producing real change and, at the same time, of offering the donor a path of personal fulfilment, meaning and consistency with their own values. She works with a pragmatic and respectful approach, founded on listening, confidentiality, independence of judgement and attention to ethical responsibilities, coordinating with the team's tax, legal and wealth specialists.
